2023 Dream Big Gala Raises $422,736 for the Montreal Children’s Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

The Valsef Dream Big Foundation is proud to announce that its second annual gala raised $422,736 to support the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the Montreal Children’s Hospital, reinforcing its commitment to advancing health outcomes for the most vulnerable newborns and families.

The spectacular fundraising event, held in December 2023, brought together community leaders, partners, philanthropists, and supporters for an evening of inspiration, compassion, and generosity. Close to 300 guests enjoyed an elegant gala evening featuring live entertainment, a silent auction, and the shared mission of giving back to children and families in need.

Supporting Life-Saving Innovation and Family-Centered Care

The funds raised at the gala will go directly toward enhancing care and innovation in the NICU, enabling the hospital to upgrade vital equipment and support innovative projects that improve the health and well-being of premature and critically ill infants.

Investments supported by this fundraising effort include:

• Advanced Monitoring Technologies that improve real-time assessment and care for newborns with critical needs.

• Specialized Respiratory and Support Equipment that assists babies with breathing challenges and developmental needs.

These advancements help ensure that families who experience the trauma of neonatal hospital stays receive the highest standard of medical support and care.
