ABOUT
Our History
The Valsef Dream Big Foundation was founded in 2022 by Valsef Group’s main entities: Valsoft Corporation, a unicorn in the acquisition and development of vertical market software businesses; and Valnet Inc., a leading digital media investment company that owns and operates a diversified portfolio of premier digital publishing assets across multiple verticals. Other entities later joined: Valstone and Valpay.
All entities contribute 1% of profits to the foundation every year, in addition to participating in and hosting several fundraising events throughout the calendar year.

The foundation’s unique model ensures that almost 100% of every dollar raised goes directly to charitable organizations, amplified by the foundation’s additional commitment to matching all funds raised. This model, combined to the donations we received from external donors, enable us to support many initiatives that foster community development, quality education, foster access to sports, and encourage health and well-being initiatives in Montreal.
As of 2024, the foundation appointed his first ever General Manager, Veronnik Marcil. Her track record of impactful contributions, combined with her passion for community development, positions her as an ideal fit to lead the foundation’s continued mission of improving the lives of Montrealers.
