United for Mental Health: Our Team Took Part in the Derby Organized by Let's Bond

Last week, six dedicated employees from Valsoft, Valstone, and Valsef Dream Big Foundation proudly took part in the Derby organized by Let's Bond at Montreal's iconic Percival Molson Memorial Stadium, pushing themselves beyond their limits in support of mental health. We are always proud to combine employee initiative with meaningful impact in our community, and the Derby organized by Let's Bond was another inspiring example of what we can achieve together.
What an incredible day it was! The sun was shining, the energy was contagious from start to finish, and participants gave their all for a cause that impacts so many individuals and families in our communities. Together with hundreds of participants, the event organized by Let's Bond successfully raised an outstanding $325,000 for mental health initiatives. This remarkable achievement was made possible through the collective efforts of everyone involved.
We are especially proud that the Valsef Dream Big Foundation contributed more than $6,500 to the event while continuing its longstanding support of two organizations that are close to our hearts: Fondation Jeunes en Tête and Fondation Aléo. Both organizations have been valued beneficiaries for many years, helping young people build resilience, confidence, and brighter futures.
Congratulations to Stephane Manos, Costa Tagalakis, Gabriel Francoeur, Ray Mohsenin, Laurence Bourgault, Véronnik Marcil, and Jill Routledge for representing our foundation with such passion, determination, and dedication throughout the event.
We were also delighted to welcome Coach Mathieu and student-athlete Delphin from Saint-Laurent High School's basketball program, who joined us to support our team during the Derby. Their encouragement and presence helped make the day even more memorable and highlighted the importance of community coming together for a meaningful cause.
Beyond the funds raised, this event was a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished when employees come together around a meaningful cause. The commitment shown by our employees reflects the values that unite our organizations: collaboration, perseverance, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
