This past weekend, 14 employees from Valsoft, Valstone, and Valnet proudly joined forces to represent our foundation at the 12th edition of the Coupe Centraide, held at Saputo Stadium in Montréal. ⚽🏆
In the intermediate division, which brought together 17 teams, our players demonstrated tremendous energy, solidarity, and determination. After a series of inspiring matches, they reached the bronze medal final. While they narrowly missed the podium, we are extremely proud to celebrate a 4th place finish overall in their very first participation — a result that motivates us even more for next year!
Our foundation also contributed a $15,000 donation to support the cause. Combined with the efforts of all teams and partners, an incredible $483,500 was raised during this 12th edition of the tournament.
The Real Impact of Donations
These funds are more than just numbers! They create real change in our community and make lasting impact for the youth. The proceeds were shared equally between:
Centraide of Greater Montreal, which supports over 350 community organizations providing food security, after-school activities, tutoring, and essential services for vulnerable families.
The Montreal Impact Foundation (CF Montréal), which invests in programs fostering educational success, social inclusion, and youth well-being, helping young people build brighter futures.
More Than a Tournament
The Coupe Centraide is about more than soccer: it’s about solidarity, pride, and giving back. Our team walks away with unforgettable memories, the satisfaction of contributing to a cause that matters deeply, and the determination to come back even stronger next year.
A special shout-out to our amazing players: Véronnik Marcil, Miranda Ciavaglia, Marcela Jaramillo, Victoria Szokup, Ssin Choi & Christian Regolf, Ray Mohsenin, Nader Sabb, Antoine Sauvé, Sebastian Alvarez, Khaled El Deek, Gabriel Francoeur, Michael Singh, and Eran Troshani.
