Winter Bazar 2025: Bringing Warmth to 222 Families in Saint-Laurent

On November 11, 2025, our team had the privilege of supporting the annual Winter Bazar, organized by the Maison des familles de Saint-Laurent (Au cœur de l’enfance). Every fall, this initiative becomes a lifeline for families living in vulnerable conditions—and this year, the impact was truly remarkable.

More Than Clothing: Restoring Dignity and Choice

As winter approaches, the needs in the community grow tremendously. Families identified in advance for their precarious situations are invited to come and choose everything they need to face the cold season with dignity:

• 165 winter coats for adults from Vertical Sports

• 112 winter coats for children from Gusti

• 30 snowsuits for babies from Perlimpinpin

• 250 winter boots from Yellow Shoes

• Toques, gloves, and accessories

• Clothing for the entire family

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the companies whose support made it possible to purchase coats, snowsuits, boots, and winter essentials at reduced prices, allowing the Valsef Dream Big Foundation to maximize its impact: Gusti, Yellow Shoes, Perlimpinpin and Vertical Sport.

This moment of choice matters. It allows parents to pick the right sizes, the right styles, and the right items for their children—without compromise. It transforms what could feel like charity into a dignified, empowering experience.

A Collective Impact That Reached Hundreds

This year, the Valsef Dream Big Foundation played a central role by investing over $30,000 in brand-new winter gear, all donated directly to the initiative. Combined with the generosity of our partners, this contribution significantly increased the number of items available for families.

In total, 889 individuals were supported, representing 222 families.

These numbers tell a powerful story: when a community comes together with purpose, it can change the course of an entire season for hundreds of children and parents.

Making Winter Warmer, Together

The Winter Bazar is a powerful reminder that solidarity is not just a concept, it is action. It is a warm coat for a child experiencing their first true winter. It is a parent relieved to know their family will be safe and warm. It is a community choosing compassion, year after year.
