Supporting Sun Youth: Feeding Families and Building Long-Term Impact

This holiday season, employees from Valsoft Corporation and Valsef Group went above and beyond to support our community by volunteering at Jeunesse au Soleil / Sun Youth’s food bank in Saint-Laurent. Thanks to the time, energy, and dedication of our volunteers, this initiative helped provide food to more than 5,000 families during the holiday period, a moment when support is needed more than ever. Their hands-on involvement played a direct role in ensuring families across Montreal could access essential food supplies with dignity and care.

A Commitment That Goes Beyond the Holidays

At the Valsef Dream Big Foundation, our partnership with Sun Youth is not a one-time initiative, it’s a long-term commitment.

Starting in January 2026, we will deploy a team of volunteers every first Friday of the month to support the organization’s food bank operations. Over the course of the year, this will represent:

• 12 mornings of volunteering

• 20 employees per session

• 720 paid work hours donated

• An estimated value of $30,000 in support

This sustained engagement allows us to create meaningful, consistent impact while supporting an organization that plays a critical role in fighting food insecurity in our community.
