Congratulations to our incredible team from Valsoft Corporation, Valstone, Fluent and Valnet for their outstanding participation in the Hockey Helps the Homeless Montréal tournament. For the third year in a row, our team showed up strong at last week’s tournament. Thank you to everyone who played or donated, we’re incredibly proud!
On the ice, the players delivered, winning all three games with the help of the one and only Francis Bouillon. Off the ice, the impact was even greater. Together, they raised over $20,000, and thanks to our foundation’s employee matching program, every dollar was doubled, bringing the total to more than $42,000.
The Impact
The funds raised through this event will help provide critical services, such as emergency shelter, mental health support, employment training, and housing assistance, to individuals experiencing homelessness in Montreal. By supporting frontline organizations, we are investing in long-term solutions and offering hope to those who need it most.
This tournament was more than just a game, it was a powerful reminder of the role sports can play in uniting people for a greater purpose. By coming together, we reinforced our commitment to building a more inclusive and compassionate society where everyone has a chance to thrive.
Thank you to everyone who donated, supported, and helped make this impact possible. And a special thank you to Francis Bouillon for his presence and encouragement throughout the event.
