Program
Creating joyful spaces where every child can play, learn, and dream.
Through the Dream Big Playground Program, the Valsef Dream Big Foundation offers up to $100,000 in funding to help schools, organizations, and communities build or renovate playgrounds that inspire imagination and connection.

Public elementary schools and subsidized daycare centers

Registered nonprofits or community organizations

Municipalities or community centers with a clear child-development mandate

Be located in the province of Quebec
The project must:

Primarily benefit children ages 1–12
-
Demonstrate community engagement and sustainability (e.g., parent committees, volunteers, partnerships)

Align with Dream Big Foundation’s mission of supporting children’s wellbeing and development
-
Up to $100,000 in donation or material contribution per project
Funding may cover:

Playground structures
-
Inclusive and accessible play equipment
-
Safe surfacing and landscaping
-
Installation and signage costs
-
Matching funds or in-kind contributions from other partners are encouraged

How To Apply
1. Complete the online request form (link above) with:

2. Review & Selection

Applications are reviewed four times a year (1 per season)

Selected projects will be contacted for an interview and site visit.
3. Partnership & Implementation

Finalists will work with Jambette’s design team and the Dream Big Foundation to finalize the concept and funding structure.

Costs will be approved by Dream Big Foundation.
4. Announcement & Build

Successful applicants will be publicly announced and featured through our Dream Big Impact Stories series.
